Emilia Bruno

Originally from Lake Zurich, IL, Emilia Bruno (they/them) is an Italian-American, queer movement artist and educator based in College Park, MD. They are a performance artist and collaborator with Tristan Koepke and Kendra Portier/BANDportier and hold additional performance credits with Shapiro & Smith Dance, Zenon Dance Company, Slo Dance Company, and Brit Falcon/Falcon Dance. In addition to their performance work, Emilia works as a marketing, communications, and public relations assistant for Mariclare Hulbert Consulting as well as the Director of Mentorship for the Bates Dance Festival. Emilia received their BFA in Dance and BS in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and is a current MFA candidate in Dance at the University of Maryland, College Park.
